It also comes with an informational booklet explaining on how and when to hold corporate meetings. The corporate forms CD includes:

CBS will ship your company's state-approved incorporation document(s) using FedEx Overnight. In cases where the Certified Copy document is not included with the state-approved incorporation document(s), we ship the Certified Copy via FedEx Overnight. In some states, the Certified Copy can be shipped up to two weeks after the incorporation document(s).
• Federal Tax ID (EIN) Obtainment Service ($70 Silver Package – Included in Gold & Platinum Package)
Similar to a Social Security Number, typically required to open a bank account Businesses are required to have a Federal Tax ID Number, also called an employer identification number (EIN). With CBSs' Tax ID Obtainment Service, we will obtain your company's EIN from the IRS once your business formation is approved by the state. The typical turn-around time for this service is 4 - 5 business days after we receive the required signature.
CBS will accept the required signature to obtain your EIN electronically. On the order form, you will be asked to grant CBS permission to file the EIN application. This will allow us to process your EIN application quickly & more efficiently than the alternative of mailing you the application form for signature.
To obtain the EIN for your business, first provide your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN). If you do not have an SSN you must obtain an ITIN from the IRS prior to being able to apply for the EIN for your business. To obtain an ITIN from the IRS, you must complete IRS Form W-7 & mail it to the IRS. If you do not have an SSN you must obtain an ITIN from the IRS prior to applying for the EIN for your business.
• Corporation (2553) Obtainment Service Upgrade ($45 Silver & Gold Package – Included in Platinum Package)
CBS can file your S corporation election with the IRS. This service is offered to corporations that are electing December 31 as the tax year-end. Once CBS receives your approved incorporation documents from the state, we send you those documents and a partially completed application including instructions on how to fully complete the document and return it to us. Once the completed application is returned to us, we will oversee the filing process with the IRS. S corporation status is granted by the IRS after Form 2553 is completed, filed in a timely fashion and approved. The election process takes approximately three months, according to the IRS instructions. We will notify you immediately after receiving communication from the IRS about your corporation's Subchapter S status.

This informational DVD guides you through the basic, ongoing requirements imposed on corporations by the state of incorporation. It walks you through your Compliance Kit & Seal and further explains the sample documents included in that kit used for complying with ongoing business formalities.

Official copy of your documents, helpful for banking activities CBS will obtain a Certified Copy of your company's incorporation document(s). The Certified Copy is an additional document issued by the state of incorporation, which further authenticates the original incorporation document(s). A certified copy of incorporation documents is often required to open a business bank account.

Identifies the permits & licenses needed to operate your business Business licenses & permits are mandatory for most businesses. With this service, we thoroughly research state & local licensing requirements (including tax registrations) for your business type & location. We then provide you with a package containing:

* The actual license, permit & tax registration applications & associated documents for you to complete & send to the proper licensing authority
